Another day at Low Yat…and Bentleys….

September 11th, 2007 by cybereug

Finally! I finally get to get out of the house…..staying too long in the house can be extremely boring…..

I went to Low Yat Plaza for some headphone-hunting. I need to get new headphones for my computer, for private listening to music, watching movies and video chats on MSN. I went there with a very good friend of mine.

We looked around throughout the whole of 3rd floor. Finally, we went to the speaker department. Wow, cool speakers with powerful subwoofers were sold there at an affordable price.  After much hunting and 1 hour later, I finally bought a SOMIC headphone-mic.

Then my friend decided to go to Bentleys to look for his favoured keyboard, he considered of getting one……. Gosh, you know how much that cost?  At Bentleys, you can find almost every instrument ranging from guitars to drums, keyboards to saxophones, and more. To me, the bass guitars are the instruments that captures most of my attention. Hmm, maybe I’ll consider getting one….who knows? Haha….
I like bass guitars because with its longer neck and bigger body makes me feel strong and confident. I don’t know why, but that’s how I feel.

Anyway, I got my new device, and I want to try it out…….start playing with it, hehe….
Good night everyone!

Trip to printing company in Serdang…

September 7th, 2007 by cybereug

Yesterday, 6th September, I went with my class for a printing company trip to Serdang. It is optional to go or not to go, but I went anyway since it can be educational for me.

I have 2 words to say about the trip, 1- Lots and lots of papers  2- Extremely HOT WEATHER!! I think it was about 32 degrees, cause I was sweating like hell!!

Anyway, back to the trip. First, we visited the graphics department. This is where all computer graphics are done, sent for approval, etc etc… The computers used there are the latest iMac computers. So ‘keng’!! Next we visited the printing workshop, just below the graphics department. This is where the weather really kicked in at its max! They really print tons of papers…….There are 3 more places that we visited namely Lamination company, book printing and binding company, and another printing department.

So many things to see, but too tired to type here. I can’t really remember much cause the weather interrupted my concentration.

Today, is the final day of my college. In fact, the last day before the holidays. She presented quite well, GOOD! Although I don’t understand Mandarin, but good! The only thing I regret is, I didn’t get to ask her out one last time before our college shifts to a new place. I wanted to, but she looks busy…So, I thought, well, there’s always a next time…..but I really regret though……..haiz…

Birthday….and foundation year….

September 4th, 2007 by cybereug

Its the 4th of September, the day i was born, 19 years ago. I actually did not expect anyone to wish me, but some did. I’m very happy that some of my friends still remember my birthday, thank you so much. :)

Now that I’m 19, I can talk about the time I was 18. Haha…. When I was 18, I have to admit, I was young and stupid. Yup, I was really too innocent, hehe…First time come to Dasein, I was really quiet. But now, I see how much I’ve changed. Not so much, but at least there’s some change.

Lots of memories there, especially fun ones like the foundation year. Whoa! All the art assignments that I’ve never come across before in my secondary school life. All sketching, computer graphics, basic design, color study, etc… at least it is better than the mad-minded additional mathematics and physics….no offence though…
The best part was the basic design presentation and the Pulau Ketam trip. Yup, lots of fun and laughs too… Haiz, good memories…

I guess I’ll stop here….I don’t know what else to write. Alright, I’m off to finish the night with an episode of Heroes. Hey gang of FDN062/1-2, if we could have a reunion at Pulau Ketam, wouldn’t it be nice? :)

To Malacca…and back again….

August 26th, 2007 by cybereug

I went back to Malacca a couple days ago, just came back tonight. Wow…really tired. Isn’t it weird how you just sit in the car for a few hours, not doing anything but sleeping, then reach your destination feeling really tired??

Well, this trip to Malacca I managed to meet up with my relatives, grandparents, cousins…..what a comfort to see them again…..
Some of my cousin I only had a short time to spend with them. Hey, only four days of staying, what do you expect?

Nightmare at 3.30am…..

August 18th, 2007 by cybereug

I had a nightmare last night. It has taken toll on my energy today, and I ended up with a terrible headache. They say, if you had a dream in the night, you will feel tired the next day. Sigh, it’s true……

It is too scary for me to write this down. Nightmares are a terrible thing….they come silently in the night, then shock you with the scare that would haunt you with its presence.

All of you, sleep well…….

Quite a scary night…….

August 17th, 2007 by cybereug

It was 2.45am. I was awakened by the sound of a dropping pot in the kitchen of the 1st floor of my house ( My house has 4 stories, my room is at the highest floor.). As I wondered what was going on, the worst thought came to my mind,…was there somebody else in the house? Everyone was sleeping comfortably in their beds, while I was wide awake.

What should I do? I braced myself, I turned on the lights. I expected to hear either a gasp or things clashing onto the floor because of the sudden lights.
I heard nothing. I checked the door, it was locked tight.

I thought it was nothing, probably a rat messing up the kitchen, turned off the lights and tried to go back to sleep. Haha, couldn’t sleep for an hour after that. Worst thoughts came to my mind……..Just like a thriller movie….
Nevertheless, it was an interesting experience. Next time, I’ll place a weapon next to me, just in case…..哈哈。。

Life is too short….

August 12th, 2007 by cybereug

It’s true when people say ‘Life is too short.’ Everyday we wake up, wishing for that day to be better than the day before. If it doesn’t turn out the way we expected, we would just wish that the day would end fast, so we don’t have to struggle with the problems. But did you ever take a look back, and wonder if there’s any chance that the so-called ‘bad’ days are meant to be, for a reason?

Maybe the day went bad, because of the decisions we make on the day itself. And then later you go home, blaming everything on God and not looking at ourselves. Maybe we should try reflecting at night, what we have done in the day, instead of blaming Him. That way, we can try not to repeat our mistakes, and hopefully the next day will be a better one.

This way, we would not end up regretting so much later in life. Take a moment to reflect. Its better than blaming God or redirecting your frustration ( mood swings ) on someone else.

Hopes….

August 9th, 2007 by cybereug

Everytime I hope that the day will better, but everytime I do that, things seem to backfire. Is it because of me? Yeah, maybe it’s because of me, because a person decides whether the day will be good or bad. It is all up to you, yourself, because you make the decisions. Every decision that you make has its consequences. Equality is the reason why.

Chinese Star….well, I got to know its functions. Now I know how to type the words. Hopefully, I can improve my Mandarin. Girl, thank you very much for the software. It had helped me a lot. Million thanks!:)

Something strange happened to me today. I’ve never been this upset before. Sorry to all my friends that I have offended today if I had behaved unnaturally. Really sorry, I was stressed up. I will not be like this ever again.

Chinese software….

August 7th, 2007 by cybereug

Damn! My monitor broke down again. That’s already the 2nd monitor replacement. Now, I’m using my old monitor, display is a little wobbly, colour a little out, but it still works. I just hope it doesn’t break down again…..

Sometimes I think the best way to learn chinese is by installing a chinese language software and use it. Just installed it today. The only problem is, how to use it. Haiz……
I believe that through reading chinese words and writing them will improve my Mandarin. Not forgetting speaking the language.

Transformers!!

August 2nd, 2007 by cybereug

Finally I get to watch the Transformers movie. Been waiting so long for this day….actually it was yesterday.
The CGI effects of the robots is the best I’ve ever seen. Complicated transformation plus real-life animation makes it the no.1 movie on my animation favourites. One CGI frame takes 36 hours to make. Imagine a 20 second clip of full CGI….that’s a lot of work…..
The storyline starts off fine in the beginning, with Blackout transforming as the 1st transforming scene( this is the scene where my mouth drops open. ), but it becomes messy in the last part. Battle scenes of the last part is nice, but why is Megatron made so much stronger than Optimus? Why not make them equally matched?
Nevertheless, it is still a great movie. Transformers cartoon fans have been waiting for this movie a long time. If you enjoy excellent CGI animation, this is the movie for you.
