Vacation
Heh, haven’t been blogging for quite sometime now…..lazy to type :P. My holiday trip to Lagkawi 2 weeks ago was quite a fun one. And I mean damn-lots-of-fun type of fun, wished it never had to end….
My family left the house at 10.30am to get to the Wangsa Maju LRT station. We then took a ride to KL Sentral, where we would meet the rest of our family members and ride together in a coach to LCCT-KLIA Terminal. Upon reaching we waited for the 6.30pm flight. That’s 8 hours worth of time wasted on getting to the terminal! Man! Anyway, back to the story. Riding the aeroplane was thrilling. Its like driving a NO2 powered car in The Fast and The Furious….vroom…. Well, we reached Langkawi about 7.40pm, that’s about an hour’s flight. Upon reaching, we rode straight to the hotel after dinner, then fall asleep……….
Day 2. Had breakfast in the hotel. Once energized, I’m ready to take on the day. Today, we rode the cable car…..Hey, wait a minute, Langkawi has cable cars? I didn’t know that till I rode on it, haha! Its was exhilarating. From here, everything seems to get smaller and smaller. This is where I start to appreciate the beauty of nature. It was nice. So nice that Rm25 per person was a little too much. Some of my relatives didn’t get to sit on it……pity… After this, we went to a harbour, where the ships docked. Very beautiful sight, so peaceful and calm…………….Hey! That’s the yacht Azhar Mansor used for his world record attempt!
Day 3. This is where all the fun really begins. We took a boat ride to Pulau Dayang Bunting, or Isle of the Pregnant Lady. Had a 5 minute walk to reach the lake in the center of the island. The view was very nice……till the scene of people riding solar-paddle boats came into sight. Sigh, this ruins the peaceful scene…. Oh yeah, if you happen to come here, beware of monkeys! The best part was our next boat trip. We rode the waves to an island, which I forgot the name. The scene of eagles, circling the sky then swooping down to catch the unfortunate fish in the sea! How cool is that?!! I only get to see this on television, but this? This is called once in a lifetime experience, folks. Then we went to a beach called Pantai Beras Basah, or Wet Wheat Beach. Huh? Funny name….but I soon found out why. Swimming at the beach was something I had never done for a very long time….
Day 4. Sigh, how time flies! I don’t want to leave this place yet! But we have to….Everybody was busy doing last minute shopping. Left Langkawi on a 11.45am flight. So sad, but would like to come back again……hehe.
About college, it is nice. New building, new colour, new facilities……but I’m starting to miss the old one. Assignments are in a dozen, but I’m cool with that. Its the dealing with clients that I’m worried about…….Anyway, wish me luck! Cheers!
