Hey.
I’ve been writing blog for the past month and I haven’t wrote anything about my details.
My name is Eugene, 19 years old. I study at Dasein Academy of Art, taking the Graphic Design course and currently in my 1st year 2nd sem. I entered the college without any friends with me. Though I’m alone, some of my classmates made friends with me. I was surprised to know that the college uses Mandarin as a teaching language. Since I’m English educated, English became my main speaking language. With very little knowledge of Mandarin, I find it hard to cope with the lectures. The Dean came to know about my problem, and since I’m the only English educated student around the college, he decided to see me personally. Ever since that day, lectures slowly changing to use more of English. I felt relieved and guilty at the same time, because my classmates are all Chinese educated. Some of them became my good friends.
Now, I’m more open. Ready to meet new people. College life has just gotten interesting……
